'The day was perfect,' Drew gushed to People magazine. 'Everyone we love and care about was there. It was fun and meaningful as we could ever have hoped.'

According to the couple's wedding planner Yifat Oren, the actress 'just wanted a backyard wedding,' and chose a 'vintage romantic"-themed fete,' creating an 'ethereal' feel for guests.

It's thought vows were exchanged under rose and lace adorned Chuppah during the traditional ceremony, while Drew carried a bouquet of pink roses and peonies.

According to insiders, guests feasted on lobster rolls, pork buns and foie gras and danced the night away to an 80s-themed band.

Celebrations over, the happy couple left in classic Mercedes, bedecked with roses and streamers, and spend the night at a nearby, luxury hotel.

Stars from the worlds of film, music, fashion and sport joined forces last night to attend Keep a Child Alive’s annual Black Ball in New York.

Models Tyra Banks and Chanel Iman rubbed shoulders with the likes of Black Eyed Peas star Will.i.am and actors Kerry Washington, Queen Latifah and David Arquette at the glitzy bash held at the Big Apple’s Hammerstein Ballroom.



Tennis champ Serena Williams, rapper Swizz Beatz and his wife songstress and Keep a Child Alive co-founder Alicia Keys were also in attendance at the fundraising gala for the charity, which aims to provide life-saving treatment and support to children and families affected by HIV and AIDS in Africa and India.

While most of the guests stuck to black or white, Tyra Banks stood out by adding a pop of colour to the red carpet in a berry purple strapless gown and jewellery. Chanel Iman looked stunning in a slinky beaded halter neck dress, Alicia Keys opted for a black trousers, sequinned top and white blazer ensemble, while Kerry Washington went for fairy tale glamour in a white tulle layered ball gown and pale pink courts.

But the most unusual fashion look of the night was Serena Williams’ black floor-length dress, which she wore with a metallic belt that was attached to a collar.

Celebrity stylist gave birth to a bouncing baby boy at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles yesterday.

Skyler Morrison Berman weighed in at 6lbs 12 oz and is 20 inches long. He is the first child for the reality TV star and her husband, Rodger Berman.

'Mom and dad literally could not be more in love with their son!' they announced in a statement.

The 39-year-old new mum later tweeted: “Thank you all so much for your love! @rbermanus and I couldn't be happier with little Skyler Morrison in our arms...he is everything. XoRZ'

Mother and son will return home to an Alexander McQueen diaper bag, and possibly even Chanel diapers.

Her husband told US Harpers Bazaar in February: 'I won’t be surprised if our baby has Chanel diapers, Missoni blankets and an Hermès bassinet.'

Chris Addison is a stand-up comedian, writer and actor who starred in BBC television satire, The Thick of It and the Oscar nominated, In the Loop. He's a regular on TV and radio and now he's adding Marie Claire columnist to his CV as he joins the team to give us a male perspective on the foibles of fashion.

Oh, dear. I’m getting older. Well, I mean obviously I’m getting older. That’s inevitable. That’s just physics. You could only not get older if you managed to reverse time, like Doctor Who, or Heather Locklear. What I mean is that signs are appearing that prove it’s happening: sometimes when I accidentally hit the button for Heart on the radio I don’t mind listening to it; I like pubs with waitress service; I arrange all the items on my grocery list in aisle order to maximise my time in the supermarket. Well, actually, my wife does the list. And the shopping, come to that. But I think the point still stands.

It’s just the ageing process. And the least controllable and most disturbing aspect of it is that mysterious ‘things’ have started to appear all over me. It began two years ago when I noticed a hair growing out of the little bit of cartilage above my earlobe. This was unlike any hair I’d yet encountered: tough, springy and completely immune to anything other than power tools. I could have grown it, ironed it and be one eighth of the way to having all the strings I’d need to build my own mandolin.

Then it was my eyebrows. What on earth is happening to them? I awoke one morning to find that during the night my wife had – presumably with great stealth so as not to wake me – crushed two fat millipedes to death as they sauntered along the bottom of my forehead, or so it appeared. My eyebrows now point everywhere, like an old lady giving directions, and, guess what, I’ve had enough.

I am by nature a bit vain and I work in an industry that not only encourages this but practically requires it. Recently, whenever I’ve sat in a make-up artist’s chair prior to going on the telly, they’ve pointed at some black shard of hair speeding its way out of a face follicle and given me the same look I give my daughter to indicate: ‘I think we both know that nappy needs changing immediately,’ then whipped it out. So it is that, to deal with the onslaught, I have plunged myself into a world hitherto unknown to me: male grooming.

Oh, but it is a hideous, disorientating, humiliating business. It’s all very well for you girls – you’ve been learning about this stuff since you could mush a wordlessly borrowed stick of your mother’s Chanel lippy into Tiny Tears’ face. You were practically weaned on things that sound like Chinese pandas: ylang-ylang and jojoba. By contrast, the sum total of the grooming education men receive is: spray the Lynx Africa under your clothes not over them.

So now, wandering lost in the foothills of middle age, I find myself equally lost in the men’s products aisle of my local Boots, trying not to make eye contact with the others, all of us scarlet of cheek, subconsciously touching our hairlines. We shamble about the place, pick up a random tube of goop, insert an obscenity between the words ‘fifteen’ and ‘quid’, and put it back down again. This cycle goes on until lunch hour is over and we just buy the last thing we were holding. (There’s an allegory about the male approach to marriage here, I’m sure.)

Last week, a woman at one counter who was wearing a white lab coat – despite the fact that I’m not convinced she even finished school – advised me that I need a moisturiser containing five per cent urea. Urea? Isn’t that what’s in wee?

I’m sorry but, try as I might, I’m never going to understand this grooming business. Too late in life to take up the mandolin, too late to start grooming. Still, I’m sure I see a gap in the market for a masked comedian…

Wow, this is the most amazing product!! I've been using it for a few weeks now and I can't rate it highly enough. I've tried so many make ups over the years (Chanel, Armani, Clinique, YSL.........) and this is by far the best on the market. It's very easy to apply and gives the most incredible coverage without looking like I've got a mask on.
It's very natural looking but covers up every imperfection and it really does give a really youthful glow to my complexion. The colours are wonderful and it was very easy to find one to match my skin, in fact I struggled to decide between 2 colours which both worked. It does not have a pinky undertone to it like so many make ups and therefore looks more natural.

It's very long lasting and I don't need to re-apply during the day. It is quite moisturizing so don't use a very rich cream underneath it as it can leave you a little shiny!This is my product of the year, I'm so thrilled with it! I won't be trying any other make ups now!

I have been using the Lancôme photogenic lumessence foundation for the last few weeks. I thought the foundation had a nice perfume to it and when I applied it to my face it evened out my skin tone – especially my forehead where I have a slight change in skin pigmentation.

It made my skin feel soft and gave it a lovely matt finish - I am prone to greasy skin especially towards the end of my working day and I did not notice my skin looking greasy since wearing the foundation. I like the fact that it has SPF 15 as my normal moisturiser doesn’t offer this protection. Overall I was very impressed with the foundation and I will continue to use it and would definitely buy it when I run out.

I haven't worn foundation for a long time and generally use a tinted moisturiser and so I found this trial the most interesting as it's wearing something I don't normally wear. The consistency of the foundation was light and appeared moisturising on my hand before I applied it, however, I found that once I have put it on my face it became quite dry and took me a little while to blend it in.

Once I had applied it the coverage was great and it certainly lasts all day. I didn't look over made-up (something I was especially looking for given I don't wear foundation) and the finish was quite natural. The packaging was good and it was easy to get the foundation out of the bottle as it uses a pump lid. Additionally, it's a good size so it will be good value for money.

I don't usually wear foundation on a daily basis as I find it quite heavy on my skin. I mainly use a face powder so this was new to my beauty routine.

I was pleasantly surprised on application as it felt more like a moisturiser, rather than a foundation cream. The colour I picked was a great match to my skin colour and blended in really well. It gave my skin a healthy glow, especially on my cheek bones. I found that my nose and chin felt slightly greasy when using the foundation so I limited the usage to my cheeks, mouth, forehead and neck area.

It stayed on all day and helped my blusher and lipstick stay in place longer. I will continue to use the foundation as it gave my face an "uplift" without feeling like I had loads of makeup on.

I did find the packaging slightly old-fashioned compared to competitor foundations, however it was helpful to see the colour clearly through the glass.

I have been using the 03 version as it is the best match for my skin colouring. It has a good texture, applies really easily and lasts well. However, I have dry skin and the only problem I have with this product is that it doesn't offer any moisturising and it tends to make my face feel quite tight. I'm sure this foundation would be perfect for anyone with normal skin.

Commenting on the make-up phenomenon, David Walker-Smith, Beauty Director for Selfridges said: 'Red lipsticks are on the up because women want to feel sexy. It instantly changes your appearance, boosts, morale and sexuality.'

As for its best sellers, and leading the pack is Chanel's Passion from the Allure collection, followed by YSL's Rouge Volupte 17 Red Muse, Dior's Serum Rouge Crimson Red, Armani's Rouge d'Armani no. 400 and Dolce & Gabbana's Ruby.

Despite having only just turned 18, Georgia's been on our style radar for a while. With her trademark locks and pout (thanks Jerry!) and rock 'n roll credentials to boot, Georgia is London's coolest 'It' girl.

Featuring in Hudson's Autumn/Winter 10 campaign, Jagger sports the denim brand's hottest new styles - black skinnies and grey denims - the essentials for any wardrobe. Shot by legendary photographer Mario Sorrenti, the campaign also features several edgy short films featuring Georgia.



Having graced the cover of Vogue, and already a personal favourite of Mr Lagerfield's (Georgia closed his Chanel Cruise show in May), this Jagger looks set to follow in her mother's footsteps..

The first pics of Chanel campaign have finally hit the web.

Marking the songstress's first foray into the world of designer advertising, she strikes a pose alongside the Coco Cocoon bag collection, which will launch in October '09.

The bags are reversable, and can be turned inside out, so are actually two styles in one. Perhaps a nod to recessionista chic, on one side the designs are either lambskin or ecru, but they can also be worn with the quilted lining on the outside.

As for the ads, the black and white shots show Lily looking distinctly Lagerfeld-like, wearing the designer's signature monochrome hues, fingerless gloves and neat tailoring. Her hair is styled into a neat chignon, and in two shots is adorned with towering tiaras.

The partnership is an unsurprising one; the singer's a regular feature on the front row of Chanel catwalk shows, as well as being one of the label's most loyal celebrity fans, with her penchant for its quilted bags regularly documented on style pages.

Karl Lagerfeld once again exceeded all expectations, producing a simply spectacular pre-fall 2010 show.

The collection, entitled Paris Shanghai, was a fusion of East-meets-West, and inspired by all things oriental - including the Terracotta Army, romantic Chinese cinema and the opulence of the imperial court.

The models travelled from all over the world to take part in the Shanghai-based show, which was set on an 85 metre-long barge on the Huangpu river, with the city's neon-lit skyscrapers creating a fantastical backdrop.

The time-honoured monochrome colour palette was infused with bright bursts of cherry red and electric blue, while the customary tweed two-pieces were interspersed with heavily-embellished tunics, kimono-style patterned dresses and traditional Chinese conical hats.

As a prelude to the show, Karl wrote and directed a mini-movie, entitled Paris Shanghai, A Fantasy - which tells the story of Coco Chanel's imagined voyage to China.

London's best and beautiful were out in force last night for Quintessentially's glamourous London awards, held in association with The British Virgin Islands.

Celebrating the very finest across the luxury fashion, travel and lifestyle sectors, the ceremony was held at the swanky Freemasons Hall in Covent Garden.

And the glittering event was nothing less than an ultra-glam affair.

The celebration was attended by a whole host of famous faces, including Claudia Winkleman - who hosted the event dripping in sparkling Harry Winston diamonds - Lara Bohinc, Marissa Montgomery and Boyzone stars Keith Duffy and Shane Lynch.

And Net a Porter's Natalie Massenet stepped out in a stunning Philip Lim dress to collect the Quintessentially award for Excellence.

Other prizes included Spa of the Year, Restaurant of the Year and Fashion Designer of the Year, which was taken by Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel for womenswear and Tom Ford for menswear.

Van Cleef & Arpels was named the Best Fine Jeweller.

A girl can dream...

In a bleached, underwater wonderland complete with vast porcelain shells, plaster coral and eerie fish shapes, unveiled his epic marine-inspired collection for Spring Summer 2012.

If fashion fatigue had started to set in by the penultimate day of PFW, Chanel was the show to get everyone excited again.

As well as the (think ) and stunning setting, guests were treated to a live set from and the largest collection we’ve seen all season.




From black, seaweed effect skirts to sequin ‘scales’, trailing organza fronds and ragged coral-esque looped fabrics, the pony-tailed king of style took us on an underwater odyssey for Spring/Summer. The accessories followed suit with conch clutches, silver ankle boots and beaded spray chokers.

There were nods to Chanel’s heritage with classic Coco pearls scattered through models’ hair or trickling down spines as well as box jackets with three quarter length sleeves, worn over white camisoles and neat pencil skirts for 2012.

Texture was key, with plenty of mesh and laser-cut fabrics as seen at Victoria Beckham and Versus, as well as shimmering sequins and super-soft leathers.

The result? A cool, fresh collection and a Grand Palais-full of fashion folk seduced by Chanel for another season.

As a best dressed list staple, has donned her fair share of designer labels, but yesterday the actress eschewed the big names, and instead stepped out in a dress by high street favourite All Saints.

The Factory Girl attended the First Light Movie Awards in London in the Ezra dress, which is coincidentally today's marieclaire.co.uk !

The £95 style recently hit stores as part of the fashion haven's spring collection, and features a full parachute skirt and ditsy floral print.

Not content with having Jo Wood on the catwalk in London last week, went one better this weekend in Paris, asking the face of her Gold Label advertising campaign, Pamela Anderson, to strut (Pammy doesn't do walking) the runway for her. The result? A high-impact show which won't be forgotten in this city for some time to come.


Not to be outdone in the star stakes, the following morning, Karl Lagerfeld had front row for his eponymous Lagerfeld show. ( was there too, but a Geldof sister on the front row is becoming as bog standard at catwalk shows as skinny models, so she only gets a passing mention.)

For true A-list glamour, however, one has to look to John Galliano, who always produces a starry front row at Dior and, on Friday, he didn't disappoint, seating next to Eva Green and .

But the celeb spotting here isn't just reserved for the catwalk shows; team Marie Claire spotted a loved-up Patsy Kensit, who turned 41 last week, and her fiancé, Jeremy Healy, looking very cosy in L'Avenue on Friday night – putting the final touches to the seating plan for their wedding, perhaps, which is due to take place next month.

With all this star wattage, you'd be forgiven for thinking Paris Fashion Week has burnt its final candles, but the big names haven't even had their shows yet, with Chanel, YSL and Stella McCartney all yet to come this week.

The teen starlets who are the faces behind fashion campaigns and Marc Jacobs, showed once again they can run with the fashion elite when they arrived at LA's Robertson Boutique for Chanel's intimate dinner party.

Steinfeld, 14, and Fanning, 13, turned out with many of Hollywood's A-listers, including , , , Lily Collins and Chanel ambassador Poppy Delevingne.

How we would have just loved to have joined them round that dining table...

Oscar-nominated True Grit star proved to the senior stylistas she deserved a place at that fashion table, in a buttoned featured grey silk dress, accessorizing with a shell-shape patent clutch and steel toe cap lace-up boots.

Meanwhile, Elle, who is currently one of the faces for fashion label Marc Jacobs, looked pretty in cream silk shorts and a ruffled black top.

The stylish little sister of actress , 17, who also modelled for the label when she was 13, finished the look off with a silver clutch and some patent black heels.

We think the oldies still know best though - our look of the night has to go to TV-host , who shimmered in a boho grey gown with matching silver heels.

Italian footwear brand Superga today revealed as their new creative director and face of their SS/12 campaign.

The model and presenter previously fronted its centennial campaign last March and Chung styled the brand's much coveted 2750 heritage pumps for the new campaign.

Tali Lennox has been named as new face of Karen Millen's spring/summer 2012 collection.

With her rock 'n' roll background and striking features, Tali Lennox embodies the 'bold, confident' woman that Karen Millen wanted to channel for their S/S 2012 collection.

The 19-year-old daughter of music legend Annie Lennox and Israeli film producer Uri Fruchtmann, decided to follow in her parents unconventional footsteps by dropping out of school before completing her A levels to take up modelling.

And it's a risk that evidently paid off.

The 5'9' beauty looks effortlessly cool in the stunning shots which feature's this season's tropical colours and bold prints.

Gemma Metheringham, creative director of Karen Millen said: 'To sum up the mood of the season, it is upbeat and uplifting, and this is reflected in our new campaign.

'Our collection has a lightness to it and, as this is the season of the separate.

'We are encouraging our customers to create their own looks and style using our wonderfully versatile pieces.'

Tali already has a rather impressive modelling CV having walked for a number of fashion giants including Christopher Kane, Prada, Missoni, Miu Miu and Chanel, plus she's featured in campaigns for Topshop and Burberry.

She previously explained her decision to venture into the fashion world, telling The Evening Standard: 'I was never really the type who wanted to be at school.

'I don't believe in the pressure of having to follow a certain timeline,' she said.

Adding: 'It's great when you're doing a shoot and it's something bizarre; you can feel really confident in a different character.'
